Susan Marin, CRM/CIGO, PMP

Susan is a Senior Consulting Manager and is part of Consilio’s Advisory Services team. Susan has 22 years of litigation, information governance, records management, and legal hold experience.  Susan earned her master’s degree in organizational change and leadership.

 

Prior to joining Consilio, Susan served as Vice President and Corporate Information Manager for a national bank where Susan developed a records and information management program from the initial phase to a maturity level where retention event-based and non-event-based labels and policies were implemented in Microsoft 365 for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. As part of the policy development process, Susan utilized stakeholder interviews to understand the business and technical requirements to implement appropriate risk and legal avoidance strategies. Susan also onboarded and managed the implementation of a third-party application to ensure the corporate retention schedule had real-time, attorney reviewed citations for legal and regulatory requirements. Susan also led many projects to reduce the bank’s legal and financial risks including working with the records coordinators to remediate hard copy and digital records.

 

With expertise in the use of change management techniques and a foundation of corporate records and information management experience, Susan advised and counseled a Michigan non-profit organization in the creation of their information governance procedures and processes to establish a legal, defensible, and repeatable process. This engagement included tasks such as the development of surveys/questionnaires for the data owners, creation of their information and records management policies and procedures, and updates to other policies with record and information management implications.

Aulden Burcher-DuPont

Aulden Burcher-DuPont is of counsel in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice in internal and government
investigations and complex commercial litigation focuses on electronic discovery strategy and data management and
protection. With more than five years of in-house experience, Aulden most recently served as Assistant General Counsel of Rent the Runway, a New York-based direct-to-consumer fashion platform and five-time honoree of the CNBC Disruptor 50. Aulden developed Rent the Runway’s product, transactional, and marketing legal practice after the company’s Fall 2021 IPO, most notably leading the cross-functional development and standardization of the
company’s revenue-sharing terms and procedures used in more than 450 fashion partnerships.

 

Prior to Rent the Runway, Aulden was Legal Managing Director at Peloton Interactive, a New York-based connected-fitness technology company recognized by Fast Company as 2021’s Most Innovative Wellness Company. At Peloton, Aulden was a member of the legal leadership team, managing a team of attorneys and legal professionals across a wide range of operational functions, including supply chain, real estate, and commercial transactions. Aulden joined Peloton as it prepared for its Fall 2019 IPO and advised the company and its leadership team as a rapidly-growing public company throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Most notably, Aulden advised Peloton on the multiyear product development and launch of Peloton Corporate Wellness, the acquisition and post-merger integration of private companies and intellectual property assets, and the strategic development of various in-house legal operations functions, including enterprise contract management.

 

Before moving in-house, Aulden was an associate in the New York
office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2015 to 2018. He began his career at Mayer Brown, LLP, where he worked in the New York and Paris offices. During his time at both firms, Aulden represented private and public companies and their respective directors across a broad-based range of complex commercial litigation and related internal and government investigations.
Aulden is very active in the mentorship and career development of junior associates at the firm and also maintains an active portfolio of LGBT+ pro-bono matters, which has included advocacy work for transgender youth seeking gender-affirming biographic updates
and the constitutional defense of transgender service members’ right to serve in the U.S. military.
 

Brice Sample, CRM

State of Michigan

Brice is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a BBA in Administrative Systems with focused attention on Records Management. He served the City of Kalamazoo, Michigan, as the Records and Information Management Supervisor/Deputy City Clerk and began working for the State of Michigan in 1998 as a Records Analyst. He has since served the state as the State of Imaging Specialist and the Department Manager over the Imaging Services Unit, and now serves as the Manager of Records Management Services.

Brice is a long-time member of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators and attained his certification in the records management profession from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) in 2004. He has served on the Board of Regents for the ICRM as the Regent for Exam Administration, President Elect, President, Chairman of the Board, Business Manager and currently volunteers for the Exam Development Committee.
